Other events coming on the horizon include the spring NASCAR fundraiser, a
two day event held on April 30th and May 1st, whitewater rafting on June
12th, and of course the fall NASCAR race, Sept. 10 & 11th. We're working
hard to keep coming up with new ideas and projects for the year, so please
don't hesitate to suggest to us things that you're interested in raising
money for or volunteering at, you never know, it might just end up on the
calendar!

I also want to make sure that potential volunteers for NASCAR are aware of a
new requirement by Americrown (the company we contract with, that owns the
sheds we work) that everyone working the event attend an orientation/ TIPS
training, which you can skip if you're already TIPS certified. It's only an
hour out of your evening, and there are a couple of evenings to choose from,
so please take the time when NASCAR comes around to get yourself certified
(it's free), and help Tuckahoe keep participating in this important
fundraiser.

I look forward to seeing each of you soon.
